Physical Security

Physical security is the simplest and most basic means to protect your systems and the data they contain:

Lock the office doors when you're not there

Install your servers and networking gear in a separate room, and keep it locked at all times.  This one is often overlooked or considered too expensive, but it's very effective at keeping staff or intruders away from things they shouldn't be touching.  It also helps to keep the server and related equipment cleaner, which makes it run better and last longer

Consider installing specialized devices that lock your PCs and notebooks to the desks they sit on.  These will at the very least dissuade a would-be thief from bothering the steal your systems
